The company operates in 70 countries worldwide with recent expansions into Southeast Asia and China.

Safety:

Field safety trials conducted by Pfizer Animal Health showed it to be safe for dogs as young as 6 weeks of age under normal usage conditions and that no significant immunologic interference existed among the vaccine fractions.

Side Effects:

  • Swelling on the side of administration.
  • Mild fever
  • Listlessness

PROS:

Ease of Dosage and administration:

A number of doses:  Three dosages. Healthy dogs should receive 2 doses administered 3 weeks apart. To avoid the potential for maternal antibody interference, dogs vaccinated at less than 9 weeks of age should receive 3 doses, each administered 3 weeks apart.

Route of administration: subcutaneously which is the very convenient route of administration.

Combination have all core viral disease along with 4 strains of bacterial leptospirosis covered in one shot.

CONS:

Revaccination duration shorter.

Duration of Immunity:

For 1 years.Vaccination should be repeated once yearly with a single dose.
